Tinnitus. Is it just vegetating and humbly waiting for the end?

On 26 July 2021, Gazeta Wyborcza (a Polish daily) published an article titled “Tinnitus. »I thought I would go mad. I locked myself in the bathroom, and the brrrr was there too«. Where do these sounds in the head come from?”

Tinnitus can cause mental and emotional disorders, most often depression. The article explores the problem through real-life examples, comparing the stories of different people and their struggles.
